Ramiz Raja pakistan

Ramiz Raja, the head of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), made a sarcastic statement in response to India’s elimination from the T20 World Cup, claiming that Pakistani cricketers were superior to those of the billion-dollar league.

On Sunday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Pakistan and England will play in the championship game.

Upon his arrival in Australia, the PCB chief addressed the media, saying: “Teams with billion dollar leagues are falling behind us. We must be doing something correctly.”

Ramiz Raja’s remarks

Raja has already used the phrase “billion dollars” in his remarks. Prior to the World Cup, he had stated that Pakistan should be given credit for defeating the $1 billion Indian cricket squad in the previous T20 World Cup under the leadership of Babar Azam.

Raja also addressed the potential test series between Pakistan and India. Simon O’Donnell, a former all-rounder for Australia, revealed that his country has offered to host a Test series between Pakistan and India.

Regarding the next Test series between Pakistan and India, Ramiz stated, “I don’t have any such knowledge. The BCCI had previously threatened to send their squad to Pakistan for the Asia Cup if the PCB does not send their team there for the ODI World Cup to be held in India in 2023.

Raja added that he was astounded to notice the startling parallels between Pakistan’s World Cup campaign in 1992 and the current one.

There are eerie echoes of the 1992 campaign. There is a sense of unstoppable confidence, similar to that of 1992. We were aware that we would win even if the opponent fielded 15 players in the championship game at the time, according to Raja.

Raja conceded that the Babar XI appeared more at ease than Imran Khan’s World Cup-winning squad from 1992, nevertheless.

Babar XI is more laid back than we are. Before the final, we were a little nervous. It is encouraging to see how much they are taking in the situation, he remarked.

Regarding his discussions with the group prior to the championship, Raja stated: “I have given them the example of the 1992 World Cup final.”

“He stated 90 thousand people are outside; this moment won’t come back in our careers.

“I’ve always yearned to see a capable skipper. This is a fundamental idea in cricket. It is not football, where decisions are made by spectators on the sidelines. Babar has the potential to achieve greatness and leave a lasting impact. If he succeeds in winning the world cup, there won’t be a greater accomplishment in his career than this, the speaker declared.”
