Track and field

Former Olympic champion Michael Johnson has secured over $30 million in funding from investors and key partners to launch his own track and field league. Winners Alliance, the league’s primary investor and operational partner, is spearheading the project. Set to debut next year, the initiative aims to rejuvenate the sport, offering both participants and spectators an electrifying platform to celebrate athletic excellence.

To raise athlete awareness and elevate the appeal of the sport, the recently established track and field league has teamed up with three companies to market the sport’s stars through fan-focused storytelling.

With track and field expected to be a highlight of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, this project aims to raise awareness of the sport among a wider audience by showcasing the amazing achievements of these athletes.

“Attempting to improve the experience for spectators and athletes! Information about the league will be released in June.” Johnson quoted to USAToday.
