The ICC also known as the international cricket council had revealed the schedule for the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022 which will be hosted by New Zealand this year. The Prize money had taken an instant increase as per the older edition of ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup where the prize money differs from rank to rank. Not only the top 4 teams of the points table are rewarded there will be a rearward for each team depending on the win of their every match. Each team will receive about $25,000 in their pockets after every win in the tournament may it be a regular match or may it be a Knockout match such as Semi-Finals or Qualifiers.
None of the team here leaves with an empty hand as the total pot of amount to be distributed in every match is somewhat equal to $700,000 out of which $25,000 will be rewarded as the winner of any type of match. The total value to be distributed to the Top 4 teams gets prize money of $70,000. Lastly, the winners will be rewarded about $1.32 million and the runners-up will be rewarded about $600,000 which is an exclusively high amount considering previous tournaments.
