Bayless’ controversial remarks

Skip Bayless posted on Twitter after the scary event (which forced the game to be postponed). Once there, he made one of the most foolish comments he had ever made in his time as a sports journalist.

In the realm of sports, the post was a complete disaster. As a result, Bayless’s FOX job was called for by fans, who demanded his resignation. In response, Michael Harris used the clown emoji to criticize Bayless’s offensive remark.

NFL’s Hamlin remains critical, game won’t be finished this week

The rest of the sporting community has come together to remember Hamlin and feels that postponing the game was the proper course of action. MLB published:

“Today, we’re all on Damar Hamlin’s side. All of us in MLB are keeping Damar, his family, his teammates, and everyone in the NFL in our thoughts.”

After Hamlin’s post went viral, Skip Bayless eventually offered an apology, but the damage had already been done. It’s interesting to note that Shannon Sharpe, who co-hosts “Undisputed” with Bayless, wasn’t present yesterday.

The first MLB season for Michael Harris II

A third-round pick of the 2019 MLB Draft by the Atlanta Braves was Michael Harris. In 2022, he made his Major League Baseball debut with them, and that same year, he took home the National League Rookie of the Year Award.

Prior to deciding on Texas Tech, the Louisiana State Tigers baseball team had exclusively recruited the left-hander as a pitcher.

Harris had a bWAR of 5.3 and hit 19 home runs in 414 plate appearances in the 2022 season. Atlanta was thrilled with how he played and anticipates seeing more of the same in the future.
