There was another depressing weekend in Brazil as Haas F1’s much-anticipated VF-23 upgrade did not live up to expectations. The team was further hampered by a first-lap incident involving Nico Hulkenberg, Kevin Magnussen, and Alex Albon. The squad was unable to gain any points in either the Sprint or main race. Although Hulkenberg’s car sustained major damage, Magnussen and Albon were able to finish the race. Haas F1 highlights the requirement for a significant performance boost in the last two races due to the approaching end of the season.

Hulkenberg driver voiced regret that the much-anticipated changes did not come to pass, despite the great hopes around the recent significant overhaul that was unveiled in Austin. The group’s expectations for improved performance were not met; therefore, they now have to reevaluate their tactics and adjust their strategy in order to stay competitive.

Although there has been a hiccup in the team’s journey to success, this setback has only strengthened their resolve and fortitude in honing their winning formula.

The German Driver said; “It’s not a clear step forward. We understand that now and we know that. It feels similar in some places, better in some, and worse in some.
