Youri Tielemans may move to Arsenal
Now, with the FIFA World Cup reaching towards its conclusion, the English clubs are preparing for their grand return for the Premier League drama. Arsenal will host West Ham United on Boxing Day, the day after Christmas.
They are looking to extend their lead on top of the Premier League table. There has been a lot that was said about Arsenal’s chances of winning the Premier League this season. There were doubts about their abilities. They have a weakness in their midfield and right wing, and this is a fear among fans as Manchester City might be able to beat them.
The transfer market is due to reopen in January and there has been a lot of speculation that Arsenal would try their best to bid for Youri Tielemans. There were other talks about how Arsenal and Manchester United are fighting to get Cody Gakpo, but it seems that United is in the lead for that after Ronaldo’s departure.
There are other stories that Arsenal may be in talks for a swap deal where the Serie A giants may offer €40 million (£34.9 million) and Arthur for Gabriel, whom Juventus desperately wants to sign, but ‘it is unlikely’ that Arsenal would accept him as a counterpart for the defender.
They may instead make a sensational request,asking for Vlahovic in ‘exchange’ for Gabriel. The Gunners are preparing a £20 million bid for Tielemans. Leicester’s contract with the Belgian expires at the end of June, so they risk losing the midfielder on a free transfer if they don’t cash in while they can.

Youri Tielemans is a 25-year-old Belgian player who is currently with Leicester, and has played for the Belgian national team. He began his career at Anderlecht and has made 185 appearances for the club. He scored 35 goals across four seasons.
Tielemans then won the league title twice and was chosen as the 2017 Belgian Professional Footballer of the Year. He is the youngest Belgian to represent his country in the UEFA Champions League, debuting at only 16-years-old.

A post was made about the rumours on Twitter where some fans were weary about spending £20 million for the Belgian player. One of them claimed that it would be better to wait until the end of Tielemans contract and that would give the club an opportunity to get the player at a better rate.
However, responses to that comment were that Arsenal wants Tielemans in order to win the Premier League this year. If they wait for his contract to end, by then the Premier League season is over. The main purpose of considering him is defeated.
Some of the fans did a calculation for the player and claimed that it would cost roughly £1 million, without paying his salary per game for the next 20 games. Many are still insisting that it is not worth it to pay a transfer price for a player that will have his current contract expiring in the next six months.
