Now with the mourning period for Queen Elizabeth has come to an end, the games are resumed. There will be seven games that will continue as per after the funeral on Monday, and the games were postponed to show respect to the former English monarch.

10 games were postponed and according to news portals, they have some speculation on what to expect with a few teams with their upcoming games.

  1. Arsenal

Arsenal would definitely show their progress, a slow and steady one, but it’s still progress. They have won five out of their six first games. This is a good start in contrast to last season. In their last meetup, they were beaten 2-0 by Brentford.

During that match, Arsenal as a team were bullied and lastly defeated by Brentford. The Gunners did not have their key important players, and the loss had placed Mikel Arteta under a lot of stress.

This season however, has been an excellent one for Arsenal as they defeated Crystal Palace, Leicester, Bournemouth, Fulham and Aston Villa. Unfortunately for them, Manchester United broke their winning streak. It was still a good game, just that Arsenal needs a little more refinement.

  1. Manchester City

Manchester City would need to prop up Haaland now more than ever as they have lost points against Newcastle and Aston Villa. That said, they are still in a good position to win the championship this year. This is all thanks to their star player: Erling Haaland.

He has beaten even the most optimistic forecasts done by the team after scoring 10 goals and two hat tricks within six games. Haaland is currently making Manchester City unstoppable. This is only if Guardiola can continue keeping a tight hold on Haaland, who is only 22 years old.

  1. Tottenham

It was advised that Tottenham should drop Son Heung as he has been performing mediocrely for the team. They had an encouraging start this season as they are tied with Manchester City after winning 14 points.

Antonio Conte, who has had a public feud with Thomas Tuchel a few weeks back, expects more from his team to win victories against Fulham, Wolves and Nottingham Forest. Son, who is usually on top of his game, has not scored a single goal during this season’s Premier League. It is speculated that Richarlison, Dejan Kulusevski or Harry Kane are to replace him.

  1. Brentford

Brentford may stick to their strategy used against Manchester United. Thomas Frank, who is the current coach for the team has guided his team well enough to score 15 goals in the first six games. They are a team rising in popularity this season.

Frank may express some worries about the team’s defence, especially when seven goals against Fulham, Leeds and Leicester were slid by their goalies. However, his team is still in the eight place, and they might even climb higher if they win more matches.

Their best win came against Manchester United and Leeds at home, where they racked up a stunning nine goals in 180 minutes.

  1. Wolves

The Wolves have not had an amazing start this season as they only won one out of their six first games. This may look like an underperformance done by the team when compared to the others mentioned in this list. They have thus far collected only six points.

Amazingly, they have failed to score more than one goal in a game this season, and the Molineux club frequently plays with its shackles on. Even if he is no longer at the top of his game, former Chelsea striker Diego Costa’s addition could be exactly what Lage needs.
