BCCI Upset at Ravindra Jadeja’s knee injury

Ravindra Jadeja sustained a right knee injury and was unable to compete in the Asia Cup 2022 after taking part in the competition’s opening two games against Pakistan and Hong Kong.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is worried now that ace all-rounder Jadeja may miss the T20 World Cup in Australia later this year due to a knee injury sustained shortly after the Asia Cup.

The report stated, “Jadeja’s injury has not pleased us.” He should have considered the World Cup when engaging in risky conduct. He lacked accountability, though, and failed to prepare for the World Cup. We are not pleased with Jadeja’s behavior.”

Jadeja suffered a right knee injury soon after the Asia Cup play versus Hong Kong. He was unable to participate in the remaining games of the series, and all-arounder Axar Patel took his place. He had surgery on September 6 and will now begin rehabilitation.
